UIndy's Department of Theatre wrapped up its annual dinner theatre production over the weekend. This year's production, Red Herring, was a spoof of noir spy movies set in 1952.
The comedy was well-received by the audiences, and the six student actors, nearly all of whom played multiple roles, turned in fine performances.
It has been a successful year for the department. In addition to staging four productions,
they were invited in January to perform their production of The Shape of Things from the 2006-2007 season at the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Milwaukee.
The department's final production of the season, Hedda Gabler, is scheduled for April 11-13 and 17-19. For details on this and other events at UIndy, visit our Arts site, where you can also join our mailing list to receive the most up-to-date info on our many events.
