Professor demonstrating athletic training technique to studentOften clinical healthcare providers seek to expand their influence on their professions or desire to make the transition from the clinic, long term care facility, or school to the college classroom. The question is how to successfully make that leap? The answer is register for the Institute for Emerging Educators in Healthcare (IEEH) at the University of Indianapolis.

Clinicians from a variety of disciplines, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic training, will gather at UIndy on August 7-8, 2015 to learn how to organize courses, implement learning theories, create effective clinical experiences for students, and understand the operations and culture of teaching in higher education.  Eleven contact hours are available for attendance.

Registration for this conference, which will be taught by faculty from the UIndy School of Education, School of Occupational Therapy, and Department of Athletic Training, is limited to 50 attendees. Those who register before July 24, 2015 will pay a reduced “early bird” fee.
